How did I spend my first paycheck?
Hey, it’s my first salary.⭐
Hip Hip Hooray.
Let’s party, open champagne, let’s dance like Italian, be crazy, don’t be normal, after all, it’s your first pay.
There is such happiness when the first salary comes, isn’t it?
There should be more because for this one day you have worked incredibly hard.
Just like a normal person, I had some unique plans for my first salary too, but I never thought the day will ever come.
Now please don’t ask the reason.
Have you ever thought, why the first salary is SPECIAL?
The first salary felt like a first love; bushing, bathroom dancing and uncountable tears.
Believe me, that’s the most beautiful and proud feeling ever.
When I was a kid, what??
I am 24 so, I am not a kid anymore, that’s why I am using this line. So, where we’re we?
Yes, in my childhood tale.
When I was a kid I always thought whenever I get my first salary I will buy the most adorable dresses like all Disney kids.
But that time there was a vastly painful feeling about shopping because I can’t afford the dresses and don’t want to involve in unnecessary expenses.
My parents were always kind, hardworking and loving people, who were always ready to accomplish my demands but, I never ask for the thing which I didn’t need it. I was always a decent child.
So, bye-bye Disney costumes and dresses.
But can I tell you one secret, I am still waiting for the day when I will dress up as a Disney star; red or purple hairstreaks, perfect makeup and classy dresses.
With time, my interest started becoming more in books instead of a wardrobe.
I had changed the plan, now I am getting a lot of books from my first salary.
Two years back when I was a student, I started to purchase books from my savings and still I shop a lot because reading book is honestly a great habit.
Now I had one question about the thing I am doing now; shopping for books, how it will make my first salary day special?
I thought I need a new plan.
let’s celebrate salary and festivity.
I decided the day I’ll get my first salary, I will party and put lots of pictures on Instagram or WhatsApp.
Everyone do that why should I not? Let’s, show my heels to the world.
But wait a minute, what about parents?
Don’t you think we should bring our first salary to our parents?
After all, without parents’ support, we can’t do anything.
I decided the day I’ll get my first salary, I will give it to my parents.
Life was growing like a flower and I was busy enjoying the fragrance that forgets completely life does not always go according to your plans.
In 2020 the pandemic came and it changed the lives of many people. Many people got homeless, many kids lost their parents and numerous people lost their jobs.
Every day newspapers were filled with disastrous news which changed my plans again.
I know I can’t change someone’s life but at least I can try, that day I decided whenever I get my first stipend I will donate a little amount for the welfare of the kids who lost their hope in Covid-19.
Maybe the amount is not satisfactory but believe me, that day I will be proud and happy because I helped those poor, little kids who dream like me which I used to do in my childhood for beautiful clothes, new books and a bright future.
Sometimes don’t wait for others to change or contribute, make the first step, who knows maybe someday you change someone’s life.
Finally, the day came and with the help of my wonderful mother, we helped many underprivileged kids who can’t afford the basic stuff for their schools.
That day I was delighted because I contributed to a promising thing without any intention. And realized life is too short to wait for the big moments, just take a moment and make it big and special.
That was my big day and that memory will always be going to be alive in my heart.
