Things to memorize

- Stop fighting in the name of God; he never advises their believers to disrespect other religions and fight to protect them.

- Stop judging people based on caste, religion, state, and country.

If one person is bad, one state is unfavourable and a country made a mistake, it doesn't mean all people who relate to them are bad and negative for society.

Every day we heard uncountable news about racism and discrimination based on caste, religion and country name.

But the question is still the same if one person is bad or one country is guiltiest then why we are punishing everyone related to them: directly or indirectly.

Recently in Atlanta, a man killed eight people, six women are Asian - American.

When I listened to this news, my heartbroken, and it filled my eyes with tears.

I can't even imagine how tough it is for them to face this situation, they not safe even in the country where they are born or living for a long time.

Racism is the virus that is spreading day by day in people and infecting our society.

Racism takes various shapes and can happen in many places. It includes prejudice, discrimination or hatred directed at someone because of their colour, ethnicity or national origin.

People repeatedly associate racism with acts of abuse or harassment. However, it doesn’t need to involve violent or intimidating behavior. Take racial name-calling and jokes. Or consider situations when people may be excluded from groups or activities because of where they come from.

Racism is more than just words, beliefs and actions. It includes all the obstacles that prevent people from enjoying dignity and equality because of their race.

Sometimes people lose their jobs because they are black, sometimes they lose their profession because they are Asian and sometimes for some other reasons.

In 1940, 60 per cent of employed black women worked as domestic servants.

In 1958, 44 per cent of whites said they would move if a black family became their next-door neighbor.

Racism is everywhere; country, area, and town.

Racial discrimination may occur because of overt bias, animosity or negative feelings held by someone about a racialized person or group. Unfortunately, people are still treated unequally, such as by being refused a job or apartment, simply because of an overt preference towards them based on race and related grounds.

People may experience racism because of stereotyping. Stereotyping typically involves attributing similar characteristics to all members of a group, regardless of individual differences. They often base it on misconceptions, inadequate information or false generalizations.

Last year in America, police investigating the purchase of cigarettes with counterfeit money stopped George Floyd, 46, on 25 May in Minneapolis.

Mr Floyd being arrested and a white police officer continuing to kneel on his neck for several minutes even after he pleaded he could not breathe.

But the major reason for this death was 'he was black'.

Racism is just a word because the actual feeling of hate, discrimination is in our mind and heart.

But now the racism is out of the boundary and it’s time to stop it.

Raise your voice against racism, create awareness, educate people about it, treat everyone equally because every person has a right to live their life full of liberty and freedom.

This world will look more gorgeous when all discrimination and hate will get discarded and we all live in peace and harmony.
